Every year, the last Sunday of the year, my pastor challenges the congregation to reflect on the year we have just been through. There is wisdom to be gained through this process.

Reflect on:

• What you have learned about yourself
• What you have learned about others
• What you have learned about life
• What you have learned about God
• What you have learned about the calling on your life

2024 may have been a great year for you, there are still lessons to be learned in that! 2024 may have been a year of great pain and difficulty for you, again there are lessons to be learned through that. One of my favorite quotes from my pastor is “God will never waste your pain”. There is purpose in the pain we go through in life and if we allow it, God will use that pain we have endured to become our greatest ministry to others.

I challenge you to reflect on 2024, cherish those nuggets of wisdom in that process and I pray that in the year 2025 you will be blessed! Happy New Year!
