5 “POINTS” of Gratitude

I have a kitchen towel I get our every year in November to put on my oven door with the quote “Gratitude is the best attitude.” Every year when I get this towel out, I think to myself, I really need to get a kitchen towel that says this for every month of the year, not just November! According to Webster’s dictionary, gratitude is defined as,

“the state of being grateful” or “thankfulness”. It can also be described as a feeling of appreciation or thanks.

Notice the beginning of the definition, “the state of”, or in other words an attitude of being grateful. I don’t know about you, but I desire this attitude 24/7, 365 days a year not just one month or one week out of the year! Practicing an attitude of gratitude benefits us in many ways including:

  • Improved mood
  • Better physical health
  • Reduced stress
  • Improved relationships
  • Reduced toxic emotions

There are many other benefits of an attitude of gratitude as well, but these 5 benefits certainly motivate me to make sure each day I am choosing to have an attitude of gratitude!

Blessings!
